ow that August is here, I know that September - and fall are just around the corner. Before I hit up the stores, which are already selling Fall fashions, I returned to the ever-trusty Style.com for their Fall 2008 Trend Reports. I like to consider myself an intelligent person, and I am pretty well-versed in the English language, yet this season’s trend reports had me flipping through the dictionary multiple times. On June 1st, Fashion lost one of its greatest contributors: Yves Saint Laurent. At the age of 71, Saint Laurent passed away in his Paris home after a year-long battle with brain cancer. Considered fashion’s “fourth force” beside Chanel, Balenciaga, and Dior, Saint Laurent is the last of a generation of design legends.
